Rob Read grew up outside of Komoka, a small town in rural Ontario, Canada and has lived in Toronto for the past eight years.

During his studies at York University, Rob wrote See Rob Read, Read Rob Read (Palimpsest Press, 2000) and edited York’s literary journal Existere Quarterly.

In 2005 he published Atone Neither Overflowing Clause (Produce Press, 2005) - two novellas in the shape of a guillotine which is a collaboration with hypnotherapist AEM.

O Spam, Poams (BookThug, 2005) collects the very best of the first 200 Daily Treated Spam, re-edited for this edition, with a special author’s note.

Rob also operates Produce Press, a small press specializing in hand-made books.

Some of Rob's non-spam poetry can be found in 18 Full English Breakfasts, published by Wood & Coal.

Rob's work has most recently been featured in the groundbreaking new anthology Shift & Switch: New Canadian Poetry.

Rob is available for interviews about:
