AVASILICHIOAEI, Oana; CARR, Angela; MAJZELS, Robert, MOURE, Erin. Translating Translating Montreal. Montreal: Press Dust, 2007. First Edition. 8vo. Perfect bound into Wrappers. New. 76pp. Perhaps, in an act of translation the edges of the self give way as they do in love. The movement of sense arises from the rhythm of the pieces as a whole, and to transmit this movement is fidelity. Hence "transinhalation" -- withdrawl, restraint, intake of breath -- seeks rather to make room for the Other. Thus writing is fostered in an open space of crossings where not one author stands alone but is multiplied, where "original" ceases to have its simplistic meaning, where texts begin to generate not only other texts but their own authors, where the I, no longer transparent, is liberated from itself.
